Signature Expedition
Three landscapes, one specialist birding and photography expedition. A focused four-day private journey through the tidal creeks, open mudflats, river confluences and remote mangrove wilderness of the southern Sundarbans.
Why travel with us
Look beyond individual species and understand the habitats where birds and wildlife live, feed and move.
Jharkhali as your base means more time in the field and fewer accommodation changes.
A dedicated boat and expedition team for your group alone, paced around the tide and the light.
The expedition
We don’t sell tours; we offer an experience of how the Sundarban should be explored.
This Sundarban birding expedition reveals a quieter and more diverse side of the southern delta by following three contrasting landscapes.
Herobhanga Creek brings tidal creek and mangrove habitat. Kaikhali Mudflats and the Matla Confluence open into intertidal landscapes and meeting waters. Bonnie Camp reaches the southern mangrove wilderness and its remote waterways.
With Jharkhali as the base, the expedition allows more time in the field without changing accommodation every day.
One base. Three landscapes. Deeper exploration.
The Wild Orbit difference
Our approach focuses on habitat, observation and meaningful exploration rather than a list of species.
A private expedition with a dedicated boat and a specialist birding approach.
A fixed base and flexible field pacing mean more time watching and photographing.
Respectful distances, no playback, and habitat protection before any photograph.

Activity varies with season and tide, and sightings are never guaranteed.
